$200 million worth Conor McGregor takes nasty jibe at Russian Artem Lobov as Wagner group attempts to overthrow Putin

Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov had a brotherly relationship for the most part. However, it all changed when Lobov took the Irishman to court for a money dispute. McGregor has never forgiven Lobov for it and took another shot at Lobov after the news emerged of the Wagner Group in Russia trying to overthrow Vladimir Putin.
The Wagner Group is a paramilitary organization consisting of a network of mercenaries and a defacto private army of the former ally of Putin. Yevgeny Prigozhin leads them. After accusing Russian soldiers of abusing his men, Prigozhin led a rebellion against the Russian government on June 23, 2023. According to early claims by Prigozhin, Wagner troops were evacuated from Ukraine and sent to Rostov-on-Don in Rostov Oblast, Russia. Nevertheless, Conor McGregor used this event to fire shots at Lobov.
He wrote, “Civil war in Russia and Artem lobov still in Ireland on benefits.” McGregor will not let his problems with Lobov aside. After winning the court case against Manny Pacquiao, McGregor taunted Lobov about their court case. Lobov once had the deepest admiration for McGregor, and some fans were saddened to see that those days are now over. He supported McGregor during his magical featherweight run to the title.
McGregor’s main issue with Khabib Nurmagomedov stemmed from the fact that Khabib intimidated Lobov in the lead-up to UFC 223. Some fans feel that it aged poorly. As the problem in Russia continues, fight fans would not be surprised if McGregor continues to take shots at Lobov.
Artem Lobov filed a lawsuit against Conor McGregor involving Proper Twelve
Proper Twelve is the premiere Irish Whisky brand of Conor McGregor. Lobov filed a lawsuit against McGregor, seeking financial compensation for his services to the Irishman. However, it did not sit well with the former double champion.
Lobov wants compensation in the form of millions of dollars after he felt betrayed by the Irishman. In the past, Artem had helped McGregor with the financial aspects of the Irishman’s career. In December 2022, McGregor did manage to score a minor legal victory by thwarting Lobov’s attempts.
McGregor and his team of lawyers appear confident in destroying the lawsuit. Lobov has a losing record in MMA, and his association with McGregor convinced the UFC to keep him around even with a losing record.
