Conor McGregor is one of the most popular fighters/celebrities with millions of followers. The Irishman made his fortune after becoming the face of the UFC and helping the promotion earn big bucks. McGregor, a former UFC double champion, rose to fame due to his polarizing personality and trash-talking. His popularity helped him earn a lot of money and become one of the highest-paid athletes in recent times.
McGregor recently shared a tweet in which there was a map of the European continent and the names of the most famous people from each country in Europe. In the picture, it was mentioned that Conor McGregor is the most popular person from Ireland.
Conor liked the post and captioned it by writing, “Nice! Real nice!.” In the list, there were many other celebrities, artists, former leaders etc. Some of the most notable names on the list were of Adolf Hitler, Queen Elizabeth, Christopher Columbus, Leonardo da Vinci, etc. While the list was not from any official source, it is easy to assume that McGregor is currently the biggest active name from Ireland despite his professional career going on a downfall.
McGregor is currently 1-3 in his last four fights and will most probably make his UFC comeback next year. Knowing McGregor, he will definitely fight someone big when he makes a comeback.

The second time the pair fought, ‘The Notorious’ returned the favor by defeating Diaz. Recently, Chael Sonnen made an appearance on The MMA Hour show and revealed that Diaz might come back the UFC to fight the Irishman next.
“You want to know what Nate Diaz is going to do next? Unknown…When I tell you unknown, what I’m trying to say is all options are on the table, but that option is also to return to the UFC and to fight Conor McGregor,” said Sonnen.
The Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz trilogy fight has the potential to be one of the most hyped Pay-per-view events. Both superstars have many fans who will be willing to see them fight and settle their rivalry.
