Irish fighter Conor McGregor ranted on the public broadcasting service RTE on Twitter after they attacked him about the alleged sexual assault incident in Miami.

Conor McGregor’s alleged sexual assault incident may have died down at the moment. Media outlets nor McGregor’s camp has yet to report any updates on the case. However, it did not stop the Irish superstar from going after a media outlet in his home country. He went scorched earth on RTE on Twitter. RTE reported about McGregor’s alleged sexual assault incident but failed to highlight his charitable services.

Raidió Teilifís Éireann is an entity of the Irish government and its premiere public broadcasting service. They recently got involved in a scandal for accepting illegal payments and are under investigation. Conor McGregor went after RTE in a series of insults in now-deleted tweets. He called RTE an arm of the Irish government cartel and accused them of lies, robbery, and being hypocrites.

He further called them a laughing stock for getting involved in a money scandal. McGregor accused them of scheming and robbing the Irish people. After his rant on RTE, the UFC superstar shifted his focus to the Irish government. He blasted the government for funding RTE when it failed consistently to serve the people. The Irish superstar claimed that corruption in Ireland remains an issue because lizards run the country.

McGregor might be using the Reptilian theory to indicate the existence of lizards in the hierarchy of the Irish government. It has been a few days since McGregor ranted about someone on Twitter. Fans witnessed Mystic Mac at his best ranting on RTE. McGregor’s major problem with RTE was that they only wanted to report his scandals rather than his charity.

In season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter, Team McGregor has yet to win a single bout against Team Chandler. McGregor returned to TUF for his second stint as a coach against Michael Chandler. However, it has yet to go in his favor.

McGregor blamed the two-round exhibition fight system in TUF for his fighter losing. He felt that a normal fight should at least have three rounds rather than two. He ranted about the format with anger around the cage at the UFC Apex.

He even asked Dana White to upgrade the fight to a three-rounder. However, the UFC President stood idle while the announcer revealed the fight result. Does McGregor have a point about two-round fights in TUF? What do you guys think?
