Conor McGregor‘s reputation as an entertainer goes far beyond the fighting stage. He has major investments in the clothing and alcohol business. Currently a coach in The Ultimate Fighter, McGregor is keeping himself busy. Recently, his long-time BJJ trainer Dillon Danis has fixed a bout with Logan Paul. McGregor in support of his trainer will be helping him for this boxing match.

McGregor said, “I know Dillion years and I’ve trained with him many times, I’m gonna train him for this, and I guarantee a win”. Danis is a well-known figure in the grappling community. His boxing skills, however, are questionable. Paul on the other hand has stepped into the ring before. He has fought KSI and Floyd Mayweather but lost both fights.

The experience that The Notorious has in the ring is priceless. UFC aside, McGregor’s only boxing fight has been against Mayweather. McGregor training Danis will surely be helpful for the grappler. Paul too has his younger brother on his side. Jake Paul is seven wins into his professional boxing career. The last opponent he defeated was the UFC legend, Nate Diaz.

Paul has not fought in the ring since his exhibition bout with Mayweather in 2021. Danis has been inactive for even longer. His last fight was in Bellator, in 2019. This boxing bout is scheduled for the 14th of October this year. This event by DAZN will take place in the Manchester Arena, England.

Dillon Danis has one of the most active online presences among fighters. Professionally known as a grappling expert, he has not fought since 2019. Danis and his offensive comments on social media always gain clout. He first came into highlight after Conor McGregor invited him to be his BJJ coach. His recently announced bout with Logan Paul has sparked an online battle again.

This time Danis has targeted Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal. He highlighted her past relationships with other celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and Lebron James. Danis has been at the center of controversies for a long time. His most famous one would be the post-fight altercation with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor will be training Danis for his upcoming fight. The grappler has not fought in the boxing ring before. Paul has a two-fight experience to his advantage. He has previously fought KSI and the boxing legend Floyd Mayweather. The two fighters will settle their differences on the 14th of October this year.
