An 18-year-old raped a 10-year-old boy and recorded him while doing the act. Later the culprit traded the clips and videos online. After getting caught the 18-year-old has been given seven years of prison time. McGregor questioned the court order of only seven years of imprisonment and tweeted:

“Despicable! A reform of our justice system and how we punish crime is needed NOW! 7 years for this? Are you kidding me? Sickness! This is SICK! Life without parole is the minimum here. Death penalty the ideal, and least costly on the state. Who has the power to change this?.”  McGregor mentioned that parole shouldn’t be available to that person and a death penalty should have been given in his scenario.
