American political commentator, Candace Owens spoke on her appreciation for UFC President Dana White on her YouTube channel recently. Owens is known for her conservative approach to politics. She also debunks conspiracy theories and is known to be outspoken about her beliefs. Her ability to not be affected by the “woke” culture is what she found in relation to White.

She recently spoke about White’s attitude toward reporters that try to stir up unnecessary controversy. Owens talked about a video of White reacting to a reporter asking him about condemning Israel Adesanya for calling Dricus Du Plessis the N-word. She hilariously said, “Just love that man, too effing bad. You wanna condemn Israel the black guy, let me condemn you because this reporter wants to make a story out of it. But no he (White) tells them off as he should”. Owens was impressed by White’s ability to handle the situation.

White commented on the heated back-and-forth between Adesanya and Du Plessis at UFC 290. This occurred after Du Plessis defeated Robert Whittaker and called out Adesanya who was present in the crowd. The face-off escalated quickly and the two fighters had to be separated from each other.

Owens has expressed her appreciation for White and his outspoken attitude in the past too. White also appeared on the podcast hosted by Owen’s where he explained why the UFC likes to stay out of politics. The UFC President has also praised Owen’s business judgment.

Since his takeover of the UFC in 2001, Dana White has brought the company to what it is today. During an episode of the ”Candace Owens Podcast,” he explained how allowing the fighters to do what they want and allowing them free speech is the reason for success.

White further explained how mixing politics into sports is not a good thing. He said, “I also believe that when you watch sports, you are tuning in to get away from everything else going on in your life”. White says that the UFC never promotes politics or hatred, if the viewers wanna see that they should go to a different channel.

According to White sports is something that people watch to relax after a long day or with their families. Unnecessary politics and hatred should not be forced into sports as they spoil the essence. These ideologies by the UFC President are highly appreciated by the fans.
