Commenting on Paddy Pimblett’s pay, Dan Hardy reveals the UFC has not increased fighter pay since 15 years

MMA legend Dan Hardy is annoyed with UFC fighter pay and claims the situation of Paddy Pimblett is shocking. Pimblett is currently one of the biggest stars in the UFC and is regularly on a rise. The Brit made his promotional debut in 2021 against Luigi Vendramini and won the fight. After that, the fighter attracted enormous attention towards him.
In his second bout which was recently at UFC Fight Night 204 in London, ‘Baddy’ was a major attraction and it helped UFC to make history in the O2 Arena by fully selling it out.
Pimblett is all set to get back into MMA action in the upcoming month when UFC will host another event in London. This time hype is expected to be even more and the UFC will make good use of that.

Hardy recently joined Sky Sports’ Ed Draper for a virtual interview in which he talked about unfair UFC fighter’s pay and the impact of Pimblett.
Hardy explained that after Pimblett’s fighters’ pay is way less than what he is earning from other sources. After getting associated with UFC, Pimblett got a lot of financial opportunities and made a huge amount of money. But, surprisingly, he’s making more money from other sources than UFC fights. Hardy said :
“What the UFC is paying paddy and what he is making on a monthly basis don’t even compare. You know the opportunities that have come his way since he’s got the UFC platform have been incredible. You know, he’s making lots and lots of money but not from the fights. That’s the crazy thing about it. what’s even more disappointing in my eyes is that he’s not making a great deal more than I was making, what 15 years ago. You know, there’s not we’hv not seen that incremental increase in fighter pay which we really need to be seeing.”
The PR machine of UFC is extremely powerful and every fighter gets the perks of being a UFC associate. When it comes to fighters who are doing great and bringing new eyes to the promotion such as Pimblett,UFC always try to push their popularity even higher.
