“Would be awesome” Dan Hardy suggests Elon Musk should buy the UFC as well after taking over Twitter
Dan Hardy- Elon Musk
UFC Welterweight Dan Hardy has one extraordinary mind, case in point, his brilliance in fight analysis and his off the chart ideas for the UFC’s fate. Hardy, who has not fought for almost a decade, is now looking forward to returning this July to the UK when he will challenge former UFC title challenger and Ultimate Fighter 1 winner, Diego Sanchez in an exhibition boxing match. In his mind as per him, Hardy is feeling fresh despite returning at the age of 40.
Hardy in his prime was considered one of the toughest fighters in the welterweight division. Hardy has fought the likes of Carlos Condit, Georges St-Pierre, Anthony Johnson, and many more with wins over the likes of Dwayne Ludwig, Amir Sadollah, Mike Swick, Marcus Davis, and many more. After retirement, Hardy dedicated his fascination for fighting in the line of a fight analyst and made a reputation for himself for being one of the best in the business.
Former UFC title challenger Dan Hardy is all in to get Elon Musk on board to dive into the fight business
On Twitter, Hardy reacted to Elon Musk’s decision to buy Twitter for $44 billion dollars, with $54.20 per share. Like many UFC fighters, Hardy believes that Musk will try to clear the dark clouds of free speech that are looming over social media giants, which includes Twitter as well. He however said it in a subtle way.
In a quite ambiguous way, Hardy wrote “It would be awesome if @elonmusk bought the @UFC next. #UFC #Twitter #ElonMusk #FreeSpeech“ Hardy is basically vouching for the world’s biggest promotion and his former home for fighting, the UFC to get itself on sales again after the 2016 takeover by the WME-IMG holdings.
What do you make of this eye-opening suggestion for Musk given by Hardy? Do you think Musk’s takeover of the UFC will take the promotion to new heights? How do you think things will change if Musk enters into the fight business in general? For the sake of fantasy, how do you think you will make the UFC better if you get to buy the company? Those who critic the company heavily often attack the fact that how the UFC is allegedly underpaying its fighters, do you think you can fix that, or if not you, can Musk do it?
