“Greatest photo I have been part of” – Dana White and Donald Trump’s rare picture while former President was fighting indictment charges goes viral

Former American President Donald Trump has always been a trailblazer in the field of mixed martial arts. Trump has appeared at several UFC events and has a good connection with UFC President Dana White. Trump aided White in his early days as UFC President, allowing White to use his own private facilities to stage UFC events.

He has been in attendance for many UFC events including UFC 287 where Israel Adesanya won back his title after a dominant knockout win against Alex Pereira. . White is good friends with the YouTube group called the NELK boys and content creator Steve Deleonardis. Both Trump and White posed for a photo with the group which was captioned, “Greatest photo I have ever been apart of”. Deleonardis also claimed that he offered his girlfriend to Trump after the American President complimented her dress.

During this occasion, Trump was charged with many crimes, including state and federal counts. Trump was photographed at the event with boxing icon Mike Tyson and singer Kid Rock. This was not Trump’s only appearance while he was under investigation. When he walked into the UFC 290 venue in July, he was met with applause from the audience.

He has also attended the UFC Unfiltered podcast which was a massive success. Trump has also been active in the sport’s promotion. He has staged UFC events at his Atlantic City casinos and has financially supported various UFC fighters. Some view his interest in the UFC as a means to appeal to young voters.

Dana White hosted multiple events at Donald Trump’s “Trump Taj Mahal”

In the beginning, the UFC was viewed as a very dangerous promotion promoting a very gory sport. This led to arenas and sponsors snubbing Dana White to host events in major arenas. This was changed when Donald Trump allowed White to host a few events at his Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City.

White hosted UFC 30 and UFC 31 in 2001 at the hotel owned by Trump. Trump was a great fan of the UFC and helped bring the events to his casino. He attended both events and even introduced some of the participants. The events at the Trump Taj Mahal were a success and helped to legitimize the sport of mixed martial arts. They also helped to boost the casino’s business, which was struggling at the time.

Since 2001, the UFC has not returned to the Trump Taj Mahal. In 2016, the casino declared bankruptcy and was later sold to a new owner. The events held there in 2001 paved the stage for the sport’s eventual mainstream breakthrough.
