Dana White is a close friend of former US President Donald Trump. Trump attended the recently concluded UFC 295. Moreover, rumors circulate that he will attend UFC 296, where Colby Covington will challenge Leon Edwards for the welterweight title. Covington and Jorge Masvidal are Donald Trump’s favorite fighters. Trump is also an admirer of Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Like Trump, White has patriotic values that he is vocal about. When the UFC faced controversy after the deal with Bud Light, Dana White focused on the beer company’s patriotic values. Apparently, the company helps military veterans and also employs thousands of American employees. Dana White in a recent interview on the Full Send Podcast discussed American patriotism.

Khabib's crew in Dagestan could probably come in and take over this country right now because this generation is such a bunch of p*ssies! Yeah, that's right. Yeah, when you look at some of these people in these other countries.......some of these guys from Russia...... built different, born different, different mentality. We're getting soft.

White criticized the present generation of Americans as weak. Furthermore, he hilariously said that even Team Khabib Nurmagomedov could take over the US if they wished to. The team of Khabib Nurmagomedov from Dagestan is one of the best teams in MMA today. White believed that the current generation of Americans would not defend the country if a war broke out.

White’s views are similar to that of Sean Strickland‘s. Strickland shared the same sentiment as White when he was on the Full Send podcast. It was just before Strickland left the US to face Israel Asesanya at UFC293.

Strickland will defend his middleweight title at UFC 297 against Dricus Du Plessis. UFC 297 is the first PPV of 2024. Moreover, in the co-main event of UFC 297, Mayra Bueno Silva and Raquel Pennington will fight for the vacant bantamweight title.

One of the biggest MMA stories of 2023 was the rumored MMA bout between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. Dana White was very much interested in the fight. However, the fight ultimately fell through. Nevertheless, Musk is still interested in the fight. He talked about it in a recent episode on Joe Rogan Experience.

The recent Full Send Podcast host asked Dana White about the fight. White described why the fight fell through. However, he enjoyed the conversation he had with them. This is what he said about Musk and Zuckerberg:

Zuckerberg is fascinating in his own ways, yeah, he's all in, you can tell. And Musk is fascinating in his own way. So, talking to both of these guys on a daily basis on this stuff, it was fun, man. Uh, I have a lot of respect for both guys. I like them both a lot, and uh, it was fun in the short amount of time.

The Colosseum was the presumed location for the event. However, issues with the branding of the event caused the fight to fall through. Dana White is not a big fan of crossover fights, but the Musk versus Zuckerberg fight interested him. This is due to the financial benefits involved with it.
