Dana White is UFC’s top honcho and taskmaster. Concurrently, he is also the brainchild behind Power Slap – the premier slapping event, under Nevada State Athletic Commission regulations. White rigorously promotes all things “combat sports”; as such he loves the rumble. Hence, of course, the multimillionaire CEO of the UFC has competitive livestock. And his top bull ‘Twisted Steel’ just got a callout from the cowboy Donald Cerrone. Recently, the duo was on the news as Cerrone got White’s cosign for insane rallycross racing.

White’s competitive cattle, ‘Twisted Steel’ recently made a PBR debut on the Oct. 20-22 weekend in “Sin City.” This was during the massive UFC 294 Pay-per-view event between Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski. The discourse of this conversation was at a recent Las Vegas event and a rodeo at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 5. And accordingly, “Cowboy” was in attendance. Cerrone has had a passion for bull-riding, for the better part of a decade. This ranges back to 2015 when he took part in the ABBI Back Seat Buckers program.

Cerrone retired from MMA in July 2022. But he would be exactly the kind of man who would transition into bull riding as a second career. Cerrone is a ranch hand and is very familiar with the “cowboy” life.

Dana White’s bull visited UFC Headquarters

At the UFC headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada, it was “Bring Your Bull to Work” day this October. If not for all and sundry, then at least for Dana White. The promotion’s helmsman had the latest extravagant acquisition – ‘Twisted Steel’ visit the premises. This was consequently coinciding with UFC 294’s Islam Makhachev vs. Alexander Volkanovski 2. Many in the promotion are avid fans of the bull-riding sport and posed for the occasion, in a snap. “The Cowboy” – Donald Cerrone, true to his anonym, is a fan.

‘Twisted Steel’ competed in the 2023 PBR Camping World Team Series Championship October 20-22 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The three-day championship event featured eight groupings competing in intense five-on-five bull riding competitions following an exciting 10-event regular season. Recently, ‘Twisted Steel’ was in another event this January, with fan Cerrone in tow. Cerrone has also made a plea to White, to try out his durability, in an 8-second mount pitfall atop the bull.
