“I gave him much better seats”- Dana White hilariously recalls how Vince McMahon treated him when he came to watch Ronda Rousey
Vince McMahon and Dana White
Dana White has helped the UFC reach its current level in part. White, a New England native who was reared in Las Vegas, moved there in the 1980s, changing his life irrevocably. Before relocating to Las Vegas, Dana White worked as a boxing teacher in Boston. White oversaw a few individuals who competed in the UFC when it was still a young organization.
Most of the credit for this should go to him since he was the driving force behind many of the UFC’s innovations that made it the “brand name” for MMA, like the choice to call the sport “ultimate combat” rather than “mixed martial arts.”
Vince McMahon retires from the WWE, and longtime friend, Dana White reacts upon the same
Vince McMahon, the head of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), announced his retirement amidst a barrage of allegations of wrongdoing. He transformed the company from a regional participant to a global powerhouse.
Following charges that he had spent millions of dollars to bury accusations of sexual misbehavior and infidelity, he resigned from his positions in the WWE last month. Mr. McMahon continues to have a majority stake in WWE. He has been the head of WWE for many years and frequently performs in the ring.
The UFC president was questioned about his thoughts on his longtime colleague promoter finally giving it a career during a recent post-fight news conference following his Dana White Contenders Series program. White acknowledged he’s buried the hatchet in my back a few times but otherwise offered nothing but praise for McMahon. He also claimed to have nothing but respect for Vince.
He also brought Vince tickets for UFC 276, to which he stated, “I gave him much better seats than he gave me in Wrestlemania. I am not even sh*tting you.” He further explains his story, and he states, “Ronda says, you have to be at this event, I want you to be there. I fly down f*cking down New Orleans, I go up to now going in the back. I go to world call window and I don’t have any tickets for ya. I call some people, I found them. People were coming up to me asking why are seating on these seats.” Here is the said video produced by MAC LIFE:
