UFC 277 Julianna Pena vs Amanda Nunes 2 is going down this Saturday at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on 30th July. The UFC is back with a stacked card in Texas. The main card consists of two title fights in the co-main and main event. In the co-main Moreno is going to face Kara-France for the Flyweight Interim Title. Whereas in the main event the Women’s MMA G.O.A.T The Lioness will try to recapture the bantamweight throne from The Venezuelan Vixen.

The Lioness(21-5) is a -275 favorite while The Champion(21-5) is a +230 underdog in the rematch. The Venezuelan Vixen submitted The Lioness by RNC at UFC 269 and snatched the title away from the Double champ. The Lioness was on a 12-fight win streak coming into the fight. On the other hand, The current champ was a heavy underdog. The fight was considered one of the biggest upsets in UFC history.

The Liones is still the Featherweight Champion and is looking to recapture the 135lbs throne. The Lioness is one of only four champions who have claimed two titles in two weight divisions simultaneously. Similarly, The Venezuelan Vixen is looking to retain her title and prove that the naysayers are wrong again.

We’re already in UFC 277 fight week with all the weigh-ins, and press conferences taking place in Dallas. The press conference was held on July 28, followed by the Official and Ceremonial weigh-ins. Leading up to the fight a lot of the MMA community is eager to see what goes down in the main event.

While talking to journalist Aaron Bronsteter, UFC president Dana White discussed the anticipation among fans for the rematch between the two champions. The UFC president stated Dana White told the journalist that the face-off between The Lioness and The Venezuelan Vixen after the press conference, is currently the 4th most viewed face-off video on his personal Instagram with 2.1 million views in less than 24 hours.

Quoting The UFC president, Bronseteter posted a tweet on his Twitter account,” Dana White tells me the face-off between Pena and Nunes yesterday after the press conference is currently the 4th most viewed face-off video on his personal Instagram with 2.1 million views in less than 24 hours.”

It will interesting to see if the champion retains her title and prove the majority doubting her wrong again. On the other hand, The Lioness is hungry for redemption and is looking to attain the double champ status. The former champ is also looking to establish that the first match was just a fluke win.
