The UFC President Dana White is not happy about the crossover fight between UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou and Heavyweight Boxing champion Tyson Fury and it seems everyone’s dream of watching a crossover fight between Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury will remain a dream.

UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has been stubborn about the idea of fighting Boxing champion Tyson Fury in a crossover fight between the two sports. The idea started when, after knocking out Dillian Whyte in the sixth round of their heavyweight title fight, Tyson Fury teased a bout with UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.

Ngannou is determined to get a fight with boxing champion Fury as he finds himself in a contract dispute with the UFC. He even said that he won’t ‘ever’ re-sign with UFC unless Tyson Fury fight is part of the deal.

However, the UFC president Dana White is not liking the idea of this cross-over fight. In his recent interview with TMZsport, Dana White expressed his dislike of the fight and even called it a silly idea. Dana said: “Nobody is beating my door down for this fight. And I love Tyson Fury. I’m friends with Tyson. He’s one of the greatest boxers of all time. One of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time going in against one of my MMA guys. We saw this movie before. We know how this story ends.”

Dana White, in the past, has promoted the boxing fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, but according to him, it’s totally different from Tyson vs Francis. Dana said: “The thing was, the Floyd-Conor fight took on a life of its own. I mean, everywhere I went, that’s all people were asking me about.”

Julianna Pena caused the biggest upset in UFC history by defeating Amanda Nunes at UFC 269. She defeated Amanda by submitting her in the 3rd minute of the 2nd round and handed Amanda her 1st loss in almost seven years.

As Pena and Nunes are ready to coach their teams in TUF 30, both fighters may have a rematch around July and August. Juliana in her recent interview expressed her desire about fighting on the same card as Jon Jones, but Dana White has rejected this idea. Dana, in his recent interview, talked about Amanda and Julianna’s rematch and told them that they will have their own separate event for the rematch.

Dana told: “She won’t be on the same card as Jon Jones. That’s not going to happen. Uh her and Amanda will actually headline.” Possibilities are that the fight might take place after TUF season 30. However, no official confirmation has been given by the UFC.
