We could all possibly witness UFC superstar Nate Diaz for the last time inside the UFC octagon. Dana White who has a very interesting relationship with this fighter dives into the possibility of an end of the Diaz story.

Nate Diaz finally gets a fight from the UFC. The fighter has been craving a fight for the past several months and the promotion has matched him against one of the most dangerous fighters on the roster right now, Khamzat Chimaev. The Stockton superstar is set to headline the UFC 279 pay-per-view event in a five-round main event fight against Chimaev.

Dana and Nate have been going back and forth for quite a while and the Diaz brother has wanted out of the organization. Nate is on his last fight of the contract and things suggest we won’t see Nate fighting in UFC again. Dana White, in a recent press conference, spoke about the Nate situation and reveals what it feels like to be watching his story with the UFC finally coming to an end.

“It’s always sad, you know. Jessica Eye just laid her gloves down. Cowboy [Cerrone] just laid his gloves down and came and said thank you to me a couple days ago. It’s one of those things in pro sports that sucks. My big thing is just all about getting people out at the right time.”

“Some you do, and some you don’t. I like seeing people go at the right time and yes, it is sad at the same time,” said Dana talking to the media about Nate possibly leaving the UFC. Nate has been fighting in the UFC since 2007 and the Diaz brothers have a separate fan base in the mixed martial arts community. Nate has many records to his name and is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars to ever step into the octagon.

While Dana seems to have a lot of nice words about the Diaz brother, the fans believe throwing Khamzat at Nate is a set up by the promotion to prove a point to the Stockton slugger for all the times he has gone against the company. Nate and Khamzat will be a very interesting fight to watch.
