UFC CEO Dana White recently revealed a rare glimpse into his personal life on the podcast “This Past Weekend” with Theo Von. He specifically discussed his parenting style and the contrasting rules he has for his 17-year-old daughter, “the miracle baby” Savannah, compared to his two sons, Dana White Jr. and Aiden White.

Dana White, known for his commercial savvy and prominence in the MMA world, normally keeps his personal life out of the spotlight. However, in this podcast episode, White discussed the challenges that come with raising a daughter compared to a son. This is what he had to say when asked about whether it is tougher to be a dad to a girl or a boy:

It’s tougher being a girl dad because I didn’t really give a s*** what the boys did. They could do whatever they want. She can’t do whatever she wants. As a dad, you have to sort of oversee and protect your daughter more than you did your sons.

This revelation puts into perspective White’s protective nature as a parent. It also highlights the many dynamics and concerns involved in raising children of different genders. It represents a widespread view among parents who, when it comes to their girls, are often more alert and careful.

White’s admission to Theo Von of the difficulties of being a “girl dad” struck a chord with many who could connect to it. While White is known for his strong and often controversial actions in the UFC, his softer and more protective side as a parent is typically not explored in the public realm.

While cautioning that he is not a doctor, White referenced expert opinions claiming that water fasting might greatly lower the risk of cancer, Alzheimer’s, and other health conditions. He described his great experience, feeling like a superhero, and expressed a desire to share his experiences. This is what he said:

Obviously I'm not a doctor, but I've been told by the experts that water fasting can help to significantly reduce the risk of cancer, alzheimers and a ton of other health issues.

This isn’t the first time Dana White has gone through a transformation. He achieved an outstanding body last year after a 10-week transformation that included a ketogenic diet.
