The UFC 287 lived up to the hype and delivered some spectacular knockouts for the electrifying audience. The event sold out the Miami Kaseya Arena, with over 19 thousand fans in attendance and a live gate of nearly 12 million dollars. While there were many popular guests in attendance, fans were thrilled to witness Donald Trump attending the event.
It is no new news that Trump is a huge fan of the sport and has helped the sport grow. However, it turns out he loves the sport more than fans might expect. Dana White seemed more than happy walking into the post-fight press conference. There’s nothing better than an event that broke the live ticket sales record and could easily do over a million sales in PPV for Dana White.
However, there was a very familiar and popular face amongst the crowd at the event. Donald Trump, who is a huge fan of the sport was in attendance at the event. During the post-fight press conference, Dana was asked, “What kind of a fight fan Trump is. Is he more of a brawl-loving guy or someone who enjoys the technical aspect of the sport? Dana laughed at this and revealed that Trump used to call him twice every month and talk about fights.
“This guy calls me twice a month and will talk to me for an hour about fighting. Things that have happened since the last time that we talked. And he knows everybody, what they did and who they fought last. He’s a huge fight fan”, said White.
Trump is a fanboy when it comes to the sport the organization and even the fighters. The reporter further questioned Dana about Donald Trump’s favorite fighter. To this, the UFC president was amused. “Three guesses,” White said with a chuckle. “Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal. Masvidal and Covington.”
Donald Trump is known to have a long friendship with UFC president Dana White and has attended many of UFC’s events. With Trump’s love for the sport and many fighters supporting Trump in the UFC, it’s no wonder that Trump received massive cheers from the crowd in Miami.

Donald Trump, the former US president, made a surprise appearance at UFC 287 in Miami, Florida.
Amidst his ongoing legal troubles, Trump managed to make time for his favorite sport. Trump walked into the Kaseya Center at the end of Kelvin Gastelum and Chris Curtis’s fight on the prelims card for UFC 287. With the crowd already thrilled after the performance from Gastelum and Curtis, Trump’s appearance shot their excitement through the roof.
Trump showed his appreciation for the energetic welcome by waving and smiling at the crowd. Donald Trump was in the front row seats to the event and joining boxing legend Mike Tyson, and pop star Kid Rock among other VIP guests. Trump took his time to pose with members of the military to show his love for the armed forces.
Every time the camera panned at Donald Trump the crowd went berserk with their cheers and appreciation. Donald Trump amidst all his legal troubles put the sport first. His work as the former USA President and undying love for the sport and the organization makes it very clear why the fight fans love a Donald Trump appearance at events.
