“I was DISSAPOINTED” – Dana White says Red Hot Chili Peppers shouldn’t have performed in a 46-thousand-seat arena

Dana White talks about recent experience in Red Hot Chili Peppers concert

Fighting is not the only event that Dana White likes to watch live. One of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ biggest fans, Dana White was quite disappointed with the band’s recent concert in a football arena. The UFC boss is a stan for the band and also is friends with the members but the last concert just wasn’t it.

Dana White, the UFC boss is one of the biggest fans of Red Hot Chili Peppers. White was recently at a concert by his favorite band and unfortunately, it wasn’t his best experience. UFC’s President has been to over 20 live concerts and has also given special treatment to the band members when they attend live UFC events. Recently Red Hot Chili Peppers has been touring around the United States of America and the UFC boss dropped by one of them.

After the recent episode of Dana White’s Contender Series, the UFC boss asked about his experience at the concert in the post-fight press conference. “I was a little disappointed, to be honest with you,” said White talking to the media. Dana has been a fan of the band for a long time and it was quite bumming to the UFC boss that the band played mostly their very recent hits during the concert.

For those who didn’t know Dana and the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ relationship goes a long way. The lead vocalist of the band, Anthony Kiedis, is one of the biggest UFC fans. The rockstar not only loves watching fights in the UFC but also has invested in the company. Anthony has $17 million in company shares. Pretty sure Anthony would like to have a word with his friend, Dana White after his comments on the band’s recent performances.

RHCP have been touring in massive arenas and has over 40 thousand fans in their concert. Dana believes the sound problems were mainly because the band decided to play in a very large stadium and it wasn’t set up the right way. “I’ve seen the peppers like 20 times so, you know I’ve seen some badass shows. I felt like for selling 46,000 seats they should have really ripped that place apart on Saturday and I don’t feel like they did,” said Dana in the post-fight press conference.

Dana also invited the RHCP band to perform live at the UFC event in Abu Dhabi headlined by Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier. The band absolutely killed it at UFC 242 and the fans had a complete treat during that event. Do you think UFC should invite more bands to headline UFC events?
