In one of the videos on his Youtube Channel, Cormier talks about the UFC 280 matchup between the bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling and the challenger TJ Dillashaw, the UFC 281 fight card and much more. In the midst of all, Cormier also talks about the UFC 279 main-event featuring the welterweight bout between Diaz and Chimaev. During that, Cormier heaps praises on Diaz and the guts of the Stockton boys to fight against anyone put in front of them.

Nate’s always been a guy that steps up,” says Cormier “Nate Diaz asked to fight Francis Ngannou and if you think for one second he wouldn’t, dudes in Stockton are different. That whole area of Northern California is different. They don’t think like normal people think. They don’t process fear, like other people process fear. So when you see Khamzat Chimaev and most go ‘wow this dude’s scary, this dude’s dangerous’, Nate Diaz doesn’t see it that way. Diaz sees just another guy…” continued Cormier.

Who do you think wins between Diaz and his last UFC opponent in Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279? Where do you think Diaz goes from the end of his UFC career? The UFC 279 card also features UFC lightweight Tony Ferguson’s welterweight debut as he fights Li Jingliang.
