“Why are you upset at that?” Daniel Cormier calls out TJ Dillashaw for dissing back at Aljamain Sterling on steroid claims
Daniel Cormier- TJ Dillashaw
UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier cannot stop himself from calling out those caught cheating in the sport of MMA, whether in past or present and also, he cannot stop himself from defending those who call out the guilty ones. Cormier, a former simultaneous 2-division UFC champion and a former Olympian, is known for his wins over the likes of Frank Mir, Josh Barnett, Roy Nelson, Antonio Silva, Anthony Johnson, Alexander Gustafsson, Volkan Oezdemir, Anderson Silva and many more.
Cormier is now an upcoming successful Youtuber who is known for having candid interviews with UFC fighters and champions during the fight week of numbered UFC PPV events. Cormier is also the official sports analyst and commentator for the UFC. On ESPN, Cormier has a special segment by the name of “The DC & RC SHOW” alongside co-host and former NFL player Ryan Clark. Cormier did his MMA training out of the American Kickboxing Academy.
Daniel Cormier believes that you can forgive but you cannot forget the guilty actions of being caught cheating in MMA
In one of the videos on his Youtube channel, Cormier talks about the upcoming UFC 280 title fight between the champion Aljamain Sterling and the challenger TJ Dillashaw come October 22, 2022, in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The fighters have been on a back and forth from now onwards and it was obvious for Sterling to pull out Dillashaw’s history of being suspended by the USADA for 2 years for Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs). Dillashaw has also fired back at Sterling and has called out the champion for building excuses once the former champion gets the title back on his waist for the third time.
“When Aljo [Sterling] says ‘I don’t think he is a clean athlete,’ TJ, how could you possibly be upset about that?” asks Cormier “You just served a 2-Year suspension. I don’t believe that because the time is served, you forget about everything… you forgive but you never forget because again all the accomplishments are brought into question whenever a guy has to serve 2-years away from his game in his prime because he failed a steroid test for something that has been proven time and time again to be a steroid…” continues Cormier.

What do you make of this bold take by Daniel Cormier? Do you think he is right? Who do you think wins between Dillashaw and Sterling come UFC 280? Other than that, the fight card is headlined by a UFC lightweight title match as well between the former champion Charles Oliveira and the upcoming champion Islam Makhachev. There’s another bantamweight fight between the former champion Petr Yan and the prospecting success Sean O’Malley.
