Famous standup comedian and actor Dave Chappelle recently appeared on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast. He spoke to Joe Rogan about how he wants to go to Africa and be a part of their culture and movies. Chappelle is also a Grammy and Emmy Award winner. He also has numerous accolades in the Hollywood film industry and is one of the most beloved comedians.
While on the podcast, Rogan mentioned to Chappelle how the UFC is being taken over by African stars, which piques the interest of the comedian. Rogan then introduces him to former heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. Chappelle jokes about it by saying, “Get Idris Elba on the phone, Idris I want you to fight somebody.” Chappelle is known to be good friends with Hollywood actor Idris Elba.
Rogan then explains to Chappelle about Ngannou’s struggles to live when he first came to Europe. He talks about how Ngannou was arrested in Spain for two months and lived homeless in France. The UFC commentator also reflects on how he fought for the first time when he was offered $500 by a guy. Rogan also explains to the comedian how the “Predator” was the most terrifying heavyweight champion ever.
Rogan then shows Chappelle the top knockouts of Francis, which leaves the comedian in shock due to the outstanding power of the former UFC star. Ngannou has now signed for the PFL after having wage issues with the UFC. He is set to face Heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury in a boxing match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Francis Ngannou Vs Jon Jones may still be on
Francis Ngannou and UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones faced off at a PFL event a few weeks ago. It seemed to be a friendly interaction between the two heavyweights. Ngannou and Jones have been calling each other out since the “Predator’s” heavyweight title reign started.
Ngannou has joined the PFL after not being able to agree on a proper salary with UFC president Dana White. Since then, Jones has captured the heavyweight title by defeating Francis’ old teammate turned rival Ciryl Gane at UFC 285. Ngannou’s manager spoke with MMA Hour, in which he said that the heavyweights could meet in the octagon after Francis fights Tyson Fury and makes his PFL debut.
UFC fans around the world want to see a fight between the two heavyweights as it is a fight that promises fireworks and will have an interesting build-up to it.
