Disney is going to increase the cost of UFC broadcast partner ESPN+ to $9.99
UFC X ESPN
UFC is so well-liked everywhere in the world. It’s a sport where the underdog can win it all with only one fortuitous stroke against their opponent. You’ll be on the verge of passing out.
But in the past five years, the sport has grown in a way that is nothing short of astonishing; it is currently one of the sports with the fastest growth rates globally. According to a recent survey, MMA has seen a surge in participation of 19.5% during 2013, only being surpassed by adventure racing in terms of growth. Currently, the average number of purchases for a league pay-per-view event ranges from 500k to 1.5 million.
The event sold full stadiums not just in the United States but also in over 19 other countries, and it was aired in more than 150 countries. A number of notable persons were seated in the front rows.

Here is the bizarre annual cost of consuming UFC content in a year
Disney is apparently poised to increase the membership charge for ESPN+, which streams the majority of the organization’s events, following the company’s increase to $74.99 earlier this year of the pay-per-view price for UFC events.
ESPN+ will now cost $9.99 per month instead of $6.99, an almost 43% increase, according to a Bloomberg report. The price of a yearly subscription will increase from $69.99 to $99.99. The modification should start on August 23.
The annual cost to watch the complete UFC schedule without any discounts is more than $1,000 with a $99.99 subscription fee in addition to 13 pay-per-view events at a cost of $74.99 apiece.
The absence of UFC president Dana White during UFC 276 and the week of International Fight Week was very tough to overlook. His remarks on the subject have not yet come to pass.
