“I don’t love it,” Donald Trump was torn during MAGA supporters Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal grudge fight

Former President of the United States, Donald Trump has a huge love for the fighting game. He has developed a great friendship with UFC President Dana White and maintains a healthy relationship with UFC fighters. Naturally, Trump also has his favorite fighters, including his supporters Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal. However, they also happen to have a huge ongoing feud that worries Trump.

Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal have been two of the biggest Trump supporters in the UFC. They have spoken multiple times about their support for Donald Trump when he was in the White House. Trump has even revealed that he likes watching Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal fight inside the octagon. Trump has even attended UFC fight cards to witness their fights live. However, both fighters hate each other with a burning passion.

Things would have been great for Donald Trump if his supporters could have remained great friends like they did in the past. However, the ongoing feud between the two heavily upset Donald Trump and even though it makes for good marketing, he does not like it. “They had a fight with Colby, who I really like too, you know Colby, those two ( Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington ) don’t like each other too,” said Donald Trump.

When asked who will he pick between Masvidal and Covington, the former US President revealed he would hate to pick only one. “I don’t love it, I hate to give that kind of an answer too. I don’t like to do that,” added Trump. With Jorge Masvidal now retired, Donald Trump won’t have to choose between the two. He is very interested in Colby Covington’s upcoming bout and will most likely attend the event.

Colby Covington believes Jorge Masvidal was on steroids during their bout

The bad blood between Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington continued to get ugly even after Masvidal retired at UFC 287. Both fighters trained in the same gym and were considered the best of mates in the past. However, gradually things started to turn sour and both developed a deep hatred for each other.

They headlined UFC 272 in Las Vegas in 2022, and the bad blood between them helped tremendously with the event’s marketing. Covington dominated Gamebred for the entire fight and won via unanimous decision. However, despite losing the bout, ‘Chaos’ believes Jorge Masvidal took steroids. “He gave everything when he fought me, he came with everything. You could tell he still had the six-pack. He was definitely doing some steroids because I used to watch him inject EPO into his a**, but he was definitely on something. He knew I was his last big main event pay-per-view fight,” said Colby during an interview.

While Covington won the fight, it did not end the bad blood between the two fighters. Masvidal later attacked Colby Covington in Miami outside a restaurant, leading to a lawsuit against Gamebred. The trial is still ongoing, and judges are awaiting Colby Covington’s medical evaluation results at the moment.
