Dale Brown is a recent internet viral sensation and the founder of Detroit Urban Survival Training (D.U.S.T). Brown got famous when his short videos regarding self-defense blew up on Tik Tok and other social media platforms. In his videos, Brown tries to simulate a life and death situation in which common people might find themselves.

He shares his knowledge of combat to tackle these situations with ease and efficiency. As his clips began to get more audience, he was called out by many for spreading misinformation and lies to people. Netizens were unhappy that he was utilizing his following to convey something that might affect their life.

This Saturday at UFC Vegas 48, Brown got the opportunity to be the cornerman of middleweight fighter Joaquin Buckley. After three rounds Buckley defeated his opponent Abdul Razak Alhassan via unanimous decision.

While reacting to this, ESPNWestPalm Co-host, Din Thomas jokingly expressed his thought of respecting Brown as he is an undefeated coach. He tweeted out “Y’all better put some respect on Detroit self-defense king, Dale Brown name.  He’s an undefeated UFC coach.”

Even though it was a joke, it served as a form of a boost to the popularity of Brown. Which was not accepted by Michel Bisping. The former UFC middleweight champ replied to the tweet by saying it’s not a good thing to encourage this. “Please don’t encourage this,” wrote Bisping.

Before the fight against Razak Alhassan, Buckley already informed his fans that Brown will be at his corner at UFC Vegas 48.

After winning the bout in the post-fight interview, Buckley revealed the real intention behind his move. “Yes sir, I know exactly what to expect. When I realized the UFC wasn’t promoting as it should. They probably promoted it well at the end, but I made sure all the eyes, you see, I got my man right here. Come here, Dale, come here. In here to promote this fight,” said Buckley.
