A surprising feud has ignited in the MMA world. Lightweight star Paddy Pimblett went on a tirade against one of the most reputed journalists, Ariel Helwani in a recent episode of his podcast featuring the UFC boss Dana White himself. It didn’t take long for Helwani to respond to the claims that Paddy the Baddy made recently.

Dana White and Ariel Helwani have publicly revealed that they despise each other. The beef between the UFC boss and journalist elevated to such an extent that Helwani was banned from attending media press conferences for UFC events. Recently, Paddy Pimblet dropped a podcast episode with the UFC supremo on his YouTube channel and went on a furious rant about Helwani.

Responding to Pimblett’s claims about the journalist making money off fighters and stirring controversies to get him more engagement, Helwani decided to leak audio messages sent by the Scouser fighter himself that shows him asking to collaborate for an interview ahead of UFC 282. Ariel Helwani, who was down to help Pimblett promote his fight, reached out to his manager, who gave out a shocking answer.

The manager claimed that Paddy Pimblett would only sit down for an interview if there was a budget allocated. This truly baffled Helwani and the journalist took offense to this. “They reached out to me, I didn’t reach out to them! So I guess in retrospect was, ‘hey, let’s see if Ariel will pay us for an interview,'” said Helwani on his recent MMA Hour show slamming the fighter for putting out false claims.

Ariel Helwani has won over the fans in this feud as the journalist came out with the receipts torching both, Paddy Pimblett and Dana White in the recent episode of his MMA Hour show. Fans were stunned by Pimblett’s tirade against Helwani given the journalist was one of the first mainstream media members to give the former Cage Warriors fighters exposure before his UFC days.
