In his recent appearance on the MMA Hour show, Dricus Du Plessis exposed the hypocrisy of Sean Strickland. He accused Strickland of playing for sympathy after being on the receiving end of his own medicine. As such, he criticized Strickland’s comments about him crossing the line. Further, he advised the champion to be a tough guy as before. Here is what he said:
The hypocrisy is what made me — that was the one area where people could lose respect for Sean Strickland. He’s always unapologetically himself. But as soon as he got his own medicine, as soon as he was on the receiving end for the very first time… we saw him backpedal and try to play for sympathy. You, Mr. Moral Compass, doesn’t decide where the line is. Stick to your guns, stick to try and being the tough guy.
