Conor McGregor has been out of the octagon for over a year now after breaking his tibia against Dustin Poirier. Since then, the ‘Notorious’ has been spending time with family and recovering.

The recovery process took a lot less time than expected and the fighter was seen training with his coaches in his recent social media posts. Other than having a smooth recovery, McGregor also decided to bulk up and gain much more mass than he had earlier.

Currently, the fighter weighs around 190 lbs and doesn’t look like going back to the lightweight division. However, nothing is sure with McGregor as he can do and fight whoever.

Conor’s former opponent, Dustin for once has an opponent in mind for Conor. Dustin was talking to Daniel Cormier on ESPN’s DC & RC. He was talking about his future in the UFC, and they were discussing the lightweight championship bout between Charles Oliveira and Islam Makhachev.

While talking about the scenario of the lightweight division, Dustin proposed an absolute banger between McGregor and Gaethje, he said, “Gaethje vs. the return of McGregor. The hype, the buildup, somebody’s going to sleep. I mean, you’re tuning in for a car wreck, a head-on collision, and I want to see it.”

This sure is an interesting fight, but both of them are currently out of action. While Conor is scouting an opponent for his return, Justin had his nose fixed with surgery, and he’s taking his sweet time to properly recover, and start yet another title run.
