After suffering her first pro loss to Shannon Courtenay, Ebanie Bridges bounced back big in yet another title showdown. March 26 marked 2 years after her defeating then-reigning IBF female bantamweight champ Maria Cecilia Roman. Bridges recently celebrated the fact on her social handles – Instagram and X. The 9-2-0 former IBF World Champ, who happens to be Conor McGregor‘s friend also has a staggering 26-4 amateur record.

She and McGregor have maintained quite an amiable and sociable connection over the years. They met at the Katie Taylor vs. Chantelle Cameron “Homecoming” light-welterweight bout at the 3Arena in Dublin. Bridges, a boxing staple, competed in the women’s bantamweight class for the 2016-17 Australasian Golden Gloves season. Her win came at Roman’s eighth title defense; the longest in the division.

The Dubliner is no stranger to controversy and litigation misdemeanors. But his comment on the boxer-turned-OnlyFans model’s sultry post raised a lot of whistles. He even reposts McCormack and Bridges’ exploits on his social media handles. Hence, the boxer remains a close friend. After their first meeting. Bridges faced a lot of queries about her relationship with McGregor, who she described as the life of the party. From their appearance on the Joshua-Helenius card in London to her and McGregor partying with 6-1 professional boxer Jasmina Zapotoczna. Currently, one fan account even justified his dislike by invoking his partner Dee Devlin.

Accordingly, Bridges sniped back at this as a “blind-sighted” judgment. McGregor touting ring girls during his Forged Irish Stout collab with BKFC has instigated a similar reaction from fans.
