Conor McGregor mocks Michael Chandler after winning the UFC trivial battle at TUF 31. This year’s Ultimate Fighter season has Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor as the head coaches, and fans are very interested in it. McGregor has finally come back to the UFC spotlight after a huge gap, and his rivalry with Chandler on the show is very entertaining.
In this week’s episode, McGregor and Chandler also engaged in a coaches’ challenge, with the winner taking home cash for both themselves and their athletes. In a freezing ice bath, they had to answer three UFC trivia questions, with the first round focusing on UFC history, the second on TUF history, and the third on each other. McGregor defeated Chandler with a final score of 16–14, earning a rare triumph.
During the challenge, McGregor was able to answer questions better than Chandler, and he took this opportunity to make fun of the fighter.
“I have been in the UFC since he’s in nappies.” McGregor flaunted his knowledge of the UFC and his time in the promotion, which is way more than Chandler’s.
Dana White wasn’t impressed by the ice bath challenge in TUF
This year’s TUF has gathered a lot of attention due to the involvement of former UFC double champions Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler. However, there are some things the president of the UFC is not a fan of. Recently, in an interview, Dana White mentioned how angry he was about the ice bath challenge in the latest episode of TUF.
He said: “It’s a huge huge f****** clusterf*** by the production team that shit this thing. Completely f******* irresponsible, completely a s***show and both of them could have been hurt during this. It was f***** ridiculous, what happened during the coaches challenge. I was literally f**** pissed off.”
White was extremely disappointed at the production team for doing the challenge, as it could have been dangerous for both fighters.
