Tech billionaire Elon Musk confirms that the fight between him and Mark Zuckerberg will not be taking place in the UFC. Musk took to Twitter where he announced that the fight will not be streamed by the UFC. He also proceeded to reveal that the fight would otherwise be streamed on the respective platforms of both billionaires. He also promised an epic location for the much-anticipated super fight.
Musk posted on Twitter informing the fans about the details of the fight. He tweeted “The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC). Livestream will be on this (Twitter) platform and Meta. Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all”. UFC President Dana White had hoped that the fight would take place in the UFC and even met with Roman Colosseum officials and the Italian minister.
Musk also disclosed that he had discussed the location with the Italian Prime Minister and the Minister of Culture. He has also long expressed his wish for the fight to take place in the Roman Colosseum in Rome, Italy. Musk expects a gladiator-style fight in the contest between him and Zuckerberg. He also mentioned in the tweet that everything done will “pay respect to the past and present of Italy”.
While the two billionaires were bidding against each other for the streaming rights, this revelation from Musk surprised fans as well. Additionally, Musk stated that all fight-related revenue would be donated to a charity that supports veterans. The fight will be an important event that draws worldwide attention. The battle of the tech titans is eagerly anticipated by fans.
Elon Musk claims that he is much bigger than Mark Zuckerberg
Since his callout for a fight against Mark Zuckerberg, Musk has believed in his MMA skills and ability to fight “Zuck”. Both fighters have been getting support from the MMA community with fighters reaching out to them. Musk has trained with UFC legend Georges St-Pierre. Whereas Zuck has trained with current champions Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski.
While both fighters are looking to be in great shape, Musk took to Twitter to reply to a tweet comparing their physiques. He said in relation to the fight, “If the fight is short, I probably win. If long, he may win on endurance. I am much bigger and there is a reason MMA has weight divisions. Musk believes his size will be able to prove his advantage against the Meta CEO.
The fight between the two tech giants is building up well and promises fireworks. Both Musk and Zuckerberg have been putting in equal work for their much-anticipated fight. Fans will look forward to seeing the super fight soon.
