Fan tries to jump in at UFC 274
UFC 274 was a massive success, It took place on 7th May in Phoenix, Arizona, and while the card initially appeared to be a blockbuster, it was ultimately saved by a number of fights on the card, especially the main event which was Charles Olivera vs Michael Chandler.
Ten of the 14 fights on the card were decided by decision. Carla Esparza defeated Rose Namajunas to claim the strawweight title in the co-main event, which was very difficult to watch. Thankfully, the excellent battles were fantastic.
In the UFC 274 main event, Oliveira caused Justin Gaethje to tap out in less than a round. Despite the win, Oliveira’s title was stripped from him after he failed to make weight for the fight. It’s a terrible way to lose a championship by losing it on the scale, but it doesn’t appear he’ll be without it for long.
Chandler landed one of the most sensational knockouts in history in his fight with Tony Ferguson. Ferguson was thrown into a different orbit by his front face kick, and the scene was quite terrifying, with Ferguson lying on the floor with his eyes open after slamming his head on the mat.
Namajunas was robbed of her title in one of the most dreadful ways possible: by the chevaliers’ scorecards. Esparza was pressing the grappling, but she did nothing with it, and she wasn’t beaten or ended. It’s a frustrating loss, especially when Namajunas was winning the exchanges but didn’t engage and produced almost no offense.

The fights were entertaining however, one attendant wasn’t as one fan made the obvious error of attempting to enter the cage. The fan attempted to enter the octagon at UFC 274, they were a little too confident in their prospects of getting past security.
The video of the female fan being wiped out by the security guard at the octagon’s entrance has gone viral. The woman hopped over the barrier in front of her seat and made a beeline for the octagon in the video, which was initially published on TikTok by user Shriak Sharma.
The Mac Life reported the same on their channel, There were no fighters inside at the time, and she made it all the way to the front and up the platform before being shoved out of the way by a staff member.
In Phoenix’s Footprint Center, the young woman, who is nameless in the video, climbs within feet away from her target before being thrown to the ground by security.
