Rumors have once again started to swirl around the main event of UFC 293 in the media. The PPV event in Sydney remains without a title fight. Earlier in July, Israel Adesanya was expected to fight Dricus Du Plessis for the middleweight title. An injury to Dricus paved the way for Sean Strickland to become the next contender in line. From the latest set of rumors, Israel Adesanya will defend the middleweight belt against Sean Strickland at UFC 293.

Fan-favorite fighters like Tai Tuivasa, Kai Kara-France, and Alexander Volkov are all part of the fight card. However, the PPV card needs a stellar main event and co-main events to excite the fans.
