“Get your own personality bro” – Fans brutally troll Ian Garry as Irishman channels inner Conor McGregor in heated UFC 292 press conference
Ian Garry showed off during the UFC 292 press conference. However, his impersonation of Conor McGregor did not go well with the fans.

Ian Machado Garry is a rising prospect in the welterweight division. Currently, he ranks 13th in his weight class. With a good set of striking skills and fight IQ, Garry has a clean combat record of 12 wins and 0 losses. He looks upon his fellow Irishman Conor McGregor as an idol. There’s no question that McGregor holds the distinction of being the most celebrated fighter in the history of the sport. Everything he has ever said or done is considered to be iconic. Many believe that Garry has been feeding off McGregor’s fame as an Irishman, ever since entering the UFC.
Garry will fight Neil Magny this weekend at UFC 292. During the press conference, the argument between Garry and Magny became really heated. Garry proceeded to use a famous catch phrase of McGregor during the verbal exchange. “You’ll do what you’re told”, he said. Fans clearly did not support this impersonation of McGregor and demanded something original. “IMG wants to be Conor so bad. Get your own personality bro”, a fan wrote.
Garry may be on his way to become a top contender in the welterweight division. In the past, he held the title of welterweight champion in the Cage Warriors promotion. Impersonating McGregor all the time might anger some of the fans.
With a flawless record in his MMA career, Garry will be looking to keep his undefeated status intact. His matchup with Magny may be his biggest challenge yet. Magny ranks 11th in the welterweight division and has a lot of experience in the UFC. He has defeated UFC legends like Robbie Lawler and Kelvin Gastelum.
Fans do not want a copy of Conor McGregor
Conor McGregor is loved by all his fans. He never ceases to entertain them. Ian Machado Garry and his antics to impersonate his fellow Irishman has gained a negative outlook. The fans want Garry to retain his own personality and keep things original. In the latest press conference for the fight against Neil Magny, he quoted McGregor several times. Just five fights into his UFC career, Garry needs to do a lot more to keep put his name on top. Idolizing McGregor is not going to get the wins. In addition to this identity crisis, Garry also has to confront the formidable Magny before he can make any further progress. Magny ranks 11th in the welterweight division. This weekend, he will be doing all he can to stop Garry’s hype train.
