“Shoots like a CHEATER” – Fans brutally trolls Khamzat Chimaev for not respecting a glove touch against Kevin Holland
Khamzat Chimaev wins at UFC 279
Khamzat Chimaev was originally scheduled to main event UFC 279 against Nate Diaz but the fighter failed to make the weight. After that things changed when Chimaev was matched up with Kevin Holland in a catchweight bout at 180 lbs. The fans were equally excited for this fight but nobody expected the results to be this one sided.
Chimaev was welcomed by boos from the crowd as the fighter was unprofessional and didn’t make the weight. However, that didn’t affect the performance of the ‘Borz’. As the fight started, Chimaev shot for the legs and didn’t give Holland any chance to react. It looked like Holland wanted to touch the gloves again after the fight had started but that wasn’t necessary.
The fighter immediately got into a dominant position and started looking for a submission. Holland tried his best to struggle but it wasn’t enough. Chimaev successfully got the submission and the fight was finished in the second minute of the fight.

The fight fans went crazy after the fight as Chimaev absolutely dominated the fight. However, the fighter also attracted some negative criticism after the fight.
One user jokingly said that UFC was planning to fight Chimaev to Nate Diaz, which would have given the same results.
Another user defended Chimaev from all the hate he is getting by saying it doesn’t matter as it’s very easy for Chimaev to beat opponents.
Similarly another user claimed that fans will continue hating Chimaev but he will never stop.
Many fans were annoyed by the fact that Chimaev ignored Holland’s glove touch and shot for the takedown.
One user clearly pointed out the fact and called Chimaev a cheater.
Another fan mentioned that it wasn’t fair as Chimaev didn’t touch the glove.
Despite the loss, fans supported Holland for taking the fight on short notice and showing up.
