Conor McGregor has stated that he has already started prepping for his octagon comeback and the Irishman is eagerly looking forward to it. Later this year, The Notorious is expected to face Michael Chandler in his eagerly anticipated return. It has gotten increasingly difficult as a result of his exclusion from the USADA testing pool.

On top of that, McGregor also got into controversy at the NBA finals where allegedly rap*d a fan. This has led many fans to assume that McGregor won’t be fighting anytime soon against Michael Chandler.

However, it seems like the former UFC double champion is not ready to give up just yet, and in a recent tweet he made it quite clear. He wrote: “look forward to my upcoming fight. I am well in preparation.”

Due to his two consecutive losses to Dustin Poirier, McGregor is currently on a two-fight losing run. In his previous five fights, he has gone 3-2 and hasn’t won since defeating Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 in January 2020. Hardcore fans have a lot of expectations from McGregor for his next fight.

In his last fight, Conor McGregor broke his leg but it seems like the fighter has recovered from it; however, it’s not fight-tested. McGregor has frequently shared training footage on his social media platforms. But a confirmation like this did attract a lot of attention from his fans and followers on Twitter.

Many fans mocked McGregor for giving hope for his fight but not getting into the USADA testing pool without which the fighter is not allowed to fight. However, there are still fans of McGregor who are positive about his comeback and believe that the Irishman can win a belt back.
