Paulo Costa is ready to hop on some of his secret Juice to save UFC 288. MMA fans hate what the UFC 288 lineup is starting to look like. With Charles Oliviera out of his bout with Beneil Dariush for the co-main event fans are hesitant to pay 79.99 dollars for the card. However, Paulo Costa came in clutch and announced his plan to save the event. This plan hyped up fans and took to Twitter to give their reactions.

UFC 288 features Henry Cejudo vs Aljamain Sterling as the main event. Triple C will be making his return to the octagon after 3 years to contest for the title against Bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling. The Co-main featured a title shot eliminator between former Lightweight champion Charles Do Bronx Oliviera and Beneil Dariush.

With Charles Oliviera carrying the majority hype for this card many fans considered the co-main as the main event. However, Charles Oliviera had to pull out of the fight due to a minor injury. The co-main event was rescheduled for another date and fans were angry about paying a ridiculous amount.

Paulo Costa after this took to Twitter and announced that he is ready to fight Jan Blachowicz at 205 lbs weight category. “May 6 PPV event is in trouble. Jan blachowicz vs Costa could be the salvation. I go up 205 on all juice.” After this announcement, Paulo Costa also followed up that he will be back to fight burns in October. Gilbert Burns has also seized the opportunity and called out Belal Muhammad and Dustin Poirier for a fight at UFC 288.


Paulo Costa stated that he was contacted by Hunter Campbell about the fight and that it might happen. However, Jan Blachowicz also specified that Paulo Costa declined the fight. While no solid news of the fight is out yet, fans had a field day with their reactions on Twitter

Paulo Costa probably has the funniest Twitter account among all the UFC fighters. Costa practically resurrected himself with his Twitter account after his loss against Marvin Vettori. Costa making fun of any and everything on Twitter is the central theme of his account. However, this time around Costa made an important announcement with his own funny twist on Twitter.

Paulo Costa suggested a matchup between him and Former UFC lightweight champion Jan Blachowicz for UFC 288. With many fighters pulling out of the card due to injury, fans have very little interest in watching the event. Paulo Costa however made his fans go wild with the recent tweet. One of the tweets called Paulo the saviour for trying to save the sinking event. The others made fun of Paulo for his secret juice.

Paulo Costa is in talks and very close to signing a fight with Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 294 Abu Dhabi. With his renewed fight contract Costa will make a whopping million per fight.
