It is not often that the internet bands together to praise someone other than the fighters on the roster. UFC is the work of a group of people who have to make sure they do their job right in order for the Fight Night events and Pay-per-view events to turn out as blockbusters for the fans watching at home and live in the arenas.

UFC Fight Night: Tsarukyan vs Gamrot went down last weekend and UFC octagon gatekeeper that goes by the name Akoneo got recognized for his amazing work. Fans online were quick to point out the speed at which Akoneo managed to close and open the gates of the octagon in between rounds so cornermen could reach the fighters without a second being wasted.

The UFC employee also reacted to fans coming together and praising him. Akoneo responded to the love he received with a tweet writing, “I was complimented on my speed at my job yesterday and it really made my day! I love my job! #gatekeeper If you’re a fan of the speed, check out the strength! I stopped EVERYONE from getting through my gate.”
