Dillon Danis and Marlon Vera were recently spotted smoking a blunt together. The picture revelation came from jiu-jitsu maven Danis’ own Twitter post. This came as a surprise collaboration between two unique fighters. Vera will face bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley next year.
Danis took to X and posted an image with Marlon Vera. Showing the two martial arts stars next to each other as “Chito” huffed on a rolled blunt. Danis captioned the post about being “high as a kite.” A prominent fan reaction, prompted towards Vera’s bout, read: “Bro wants to get banned before the fight on alcohol and drugs…“
At UFC 299 in March, Vera will face O’Malley for the bantamweight title. The two previously faced off at UFC 252 in August 2020, where ‘Chito’ scored a first-round knockout over O’Malley, although an injury played a big part in that night’s action. O’Malley will look to avenge the only loss of his career in March.
Meanwhile, Danis made his boxing debut and lost to Logan Paul in October. The boxing match took place at the DAZN Misfits PRIME Card. The exhibition bout had turned into a grudge match with Danis trolling Paul’s fiancé, Nina Agdal, online. Danis lost the match due to a disqualification, attempting a leg drag-down. The fighter is now aiming for a UFC contract.
