UFC color commentator Joe Rogan over the years has amassed a tremendous fan following due to his various ventures. Along with commenting on fights in UFC, Rogan is also a seasoned comedian and host to one of the biggest podcasts on the face of the earth. Followers of his work are aware that Rogan is very unreserved when it comes to his speech. Due to this, the podcast host tends to face backlash for making controversial statements very often.

Joe Rogan recently faced some backlash for transitioning from a sensitive topic to talking about Karate Combat. In his latest episode, Joe Rogan discussed fighting history, gun laws and Karate Combat with veteran fighter Bas Rutten. In one of their conversation on gun laws, Rutten exclaimed about the freedom to acquire guns in Texas. The same energy was matched by Rogan as he backed up Rutten’s claims. “Everything is legal you can have sealed carry is just your constitutional right. I’m not saying it’s a good thing or bad thing, it’s a thing,” exclaimed Rogan.

However, the tone of the conversation quickly changed after Joe Rogan narrated a sad story. According to Rogan, a guy was shot for climbing the fence of his own yard with an AR-15 rifle. While Rogan is not fully aware of who called the cops and other minute details, the person was killed for trying to enter his own property. Both Rogan and Bas Rutten felt bad for the person’s death and the unfortunate circumstances around the event. ” That’s a lesson, don’t out with an AR in the middle of the night. Sad for the family,” added Bas Rutten.
