UFC fighter Khamzat Chimaev upon his entry into the organization was considered a huge prospect. He shocked the world with his rapid back-to-back wins and instantly rose to fame. Fans were highly impressed by Khamzat’s skills inside the octagon and also started calling him as the evil Khabib. Turns out fans might witness the same journey again after a fighter identical to Khamzat Chimaev goes viral.

23-year-old MMA fighter Khamzat Maaev is rapidly gaining popularity after his latest fight. Maaev knocked out his opponent Elias Farah during his debut fight in the Middle Eastern MMA organization, Brave FC. Although the 41-second first-round win was quite impressive, Maaev’s popularity is due to other reasons. The 23-year-old fighters striking resemblance to UFC fighter Khamzat Chimaev is what has attracted fans toward Maaev.

With the shaved head, a similar physique, and a beard, both fighters look almost identical. They also have an equally similar fighting style as both Maaev and Chimaev are heavy grapplers. Apart from the physical qualities, a lot of other aspects of the life of both fighters seem to be similar.

Just like Khamzat Maaev, Khamzat Chimaev was also a part of Brave CF. He had an undefeated record in the organization before eventually moving to the UFC. Both fighters have the same nickname ‘Borz’ and hail from the same region of Chechnya. The duo also happens to be undefeated even though Maaev has comparatively fewer fights under his belt.

After knowing about Khamzat’s alleged clone, fans have been left dumbfounded. Fight fans all over the world have expressed their surprise as they react to this news on Twitter.

His first-round wins had fans rooting for him and jumping on the Hype train. However, Chimaev might not be so unique after all. Khamzat Chimaev’s clone Khamzat Maaev is rising to prominence after his dominant performance in Brave CF, leaving all fans in utter disbelief.

With so many parallels between the fighters, fight fans have been left dumbfounded by the Khamzat clone. Many believe Maaev was simply cloned in a lab or could be Chimaev’s long-lost brother. “Dude cmon at this point I can’t be expected to believe some of these fighters aren’t being created in a lab or something. They have damn near the exact same name, origin, and build,” posted a user.

Despite the similarities, Maaev still has a long way to go if he wants to reach Khamzat’s level. He’s only 23 years old and with a few more dominant wins fans could expect the alleged clone to fight for UFC. Regardless, Maaev is on the correct path and a Khamzat vs Khamzat fight would be a mind-bending experience for the fans.
