Anshul Jubli failed to impress fans in his UFC debut against Mike Breeden, as he lost his bout at UFC 294 via knockout. During his walkout, the Indian was looking sharp and confident but couldn’t take a win against Breeden.

Going into the fight, Anshul Jubli had a lot of hype around him as he represented India, which has proven to have massive untapped potential for promotion. In the first round, both fighters kept it cautious and just exchanged a few strikes in the middle of the octagon.

However, in the second round, it was Jubli who took charge and looked impressive as he connected a lot of shots. The fighter even managed to give the American a nasty cut over his left eye, which was looking gruesome. Although Mike Breeden was taking his chances and connecting shots, Jubli was just overall better in the second round.

The third and final round shocked the whole crowd as Breeden changed the whole game, marched down toward Jubli with confidence, and landed some heavy shots. The fighter got fired up and barked and shouted at his opponent while connecting shots. This then led to Jubli taking a right and falling on the mat as Breeden wildly celebrated his KO win.

Going into the fight, Mike Breeden was on a three-fight losing streak, and Anshul Jubli, irrespective of his debut, was the fan favorite to win. Up until the second round, it was going as expected and Jubli was winning the bout; however, the debutant lost his focus in the last round and lost the fight.
