Welterweight fighter Ian Garry continues his hype train after scoring a win over Daniel Rodriguez at UFC Charlotte. The Irish prospect looked very promising finishing D-Rod with the same move he predicted in many of his interviews. His fans took to Twitter and celebrated the future’s win over a ranked opponent and appreciated his knockout.

Ian Garry has been a very promising prospect for the UFC since his debut. The Irish fighter has taken inspiration from one of UFC’s best, Conor McGregor, and wants to make it very big in the world of MMA. Ian Garry is an undefeated fighter and managed to stay the same after his victory over Daniel Rodriguez.
Garry knocked down Rodriguez with a leg kick to the head. He then followed it up with a flurry of punches on the downed fighter to win via a TKO in the first round of the match.

During his post-fight interviews, Ian revealed how he knew that the head kick would play a key role in the outcome of the match. The future was also seen talking about the head kick in almost every interview leading up to his fight at UFC Charlotte.I told you a big key in the fight was gonna be that right leg. Set it up early, it didn’t have the success until it did and that’s all that matters. That high kick was beautiful,” said the 25-year-old.

With his win over Daniel Rodriguez, Ian enters the rank of the top 15 welterweights. He called out Neil Magny for his next fight and also revealed his six-fight plan during one of his post-fight interviews as well. Meanwhile, fans can’t seem to get enough of Garry’s phenomenal TKO and took to Twitter to appreciate the Irish prospect.

Ian Garry continues his winning streak after an impressive performance at UFC fight night Charlotte. Garry walked in as the betting favorite against one of his toughest matchups yet. The Irish prospect finished the match in the first round itself via a picture-perfect TKO of Daniel Rodriguez. Machado also revealed how he predicted the right leg to head would play a crucial role in his KO.

After watching the KO from one of the biggest hype trains in UFC, fans could not hold it in and showed Ian Garry their love on Twitter. Fans were amazed by Garry, who already talked about his head kick KO in many of his interviews prior to his fight. Others compared his prediction to Conor McGregor’s Mystic Mac era as well. MMA journalist Ariel Helwani was also all praise for the undefeated Irish fighter. “Biggest fight of Ian Machado Garry’s career = best performance of his career. What a statement. Massive W for The Future.” said Helwani in his tweet.

With this win, Ian Garry enters the top 15 fighters in the welterweight division. Ian Garry also called out welterweight fighter Neil Magny for his next bout in the division. Even though Neil Magny is already booked for a fight in June, a fight against Magny will propel Ian into the top 10 fighters of the welterweight division.
