Users on Twitter reportedly criticize Dana for nonchalantly spending such a high amount of money on gambling, while fighter pay is such a big issue in the UFC. The payment of fighters in the UFC is structured in three tiers. Low, medium, and high tiers are available, with the lowest paying between $10,000 and $30,000 and the highest tier ranking between $500,000 and $3,000,000 every bout. When new fighters join the UFC, they typically receive the lowest-tier contract.
