UFC’s superstar and former double-division champion Conor McGregor has landed into a heap of trouble. Amidst facing sexual assault allegations, McGregor has missed his time frame for entering the USADA testing pool. Fight fans who were waiting for Conor’s anticipated return are losing hope of seeing him fight every day.

Conor McGregor recently took on the role of the coach in the latest season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’. He coached his team of young fighters against Michael Chandler and his team of MMA veterans. Conor making his comeback after his devastating leg injury had fans very excited. However, all that excitement is slowly fading away. McGregor has recently landed in heaps of trouble jeopardizing his comeback fight this year.

Conor McGregor exited the USADA testing pool after entering rehabilitation. To make a comeback in the Octagon, McGregor first would have to re-enter the testing pool for 6 months and get at least two negative test results. He had only till the weekend, to enter the pool if he wanted to headline UFC’s last pay-per-view event this year at UFC 296. However, McGregor failed to do so and is currently facing some serious allegations.

A woman accused Conor McGregor of r*pe at Game 4 of the Miami Heat featuring NBA Final. The woman stated that McGregor tried to forcefully kiss her and attempted to pin her against the wall in an attempt to sodomize her. A video of McGregor taking the alleged victim to the restroom was also recently released, making things harder for UFC’s superstar. All the recent developments surrounding McGregor have fans slowly losing hope in his comeback. Fans took to Twitter to express their despair.

UFC’s biggest fighter might not be able to make his comeback this year. Conor McGregor had planned his comeback against the lightweight fighter, Michael Chandler. He was seen coaching young fighters against Chandler in the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter. However, the season will end on 15th August followed by a fight between the two. However, due to McGregor not entering the USADA testing pool, the fight was shifted to later this year.

While fans are anxious with the news of Conor not entering the testing pool, others believe he has bigger problems to face now. “ I’m losing excitement by the day for this fight tbh. I do think Conor intends to keep fighting, but the longer this takes, the more I just get tired of hearing about,” posted a fan. The USADA exempts fighters from rigorous testing in a few scenarios. However, looking at Conor’s plight, chances of him entering the pool and fighting this year are appearing to be minimal.
