Conor McGregor is undoubtedly the biggest and most well-known UFC star in history. Furthermore, his legacy and impact on the sport as a whole have left quite a mark on the generation. He has a significant presence in all UFC games and will continue to have an impact in the future.

Several UFC fans can relate that they started watching the sport because of McGregor and his antiques. Mcgregor’s unique personality, flamboyant trash-talking, and overall style swept fans worldwide who became obsessed with him. During this period, many considered Conor McGregor to be the face of UFC, and he still remains its biggest superstar. Subsequently, he became the highest-paid athlete in 2021 which made him the face of sports, surpassing the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

‘EA Sports UFC’ part of the UFC franchise is a very popular game, especially among UFC and MMA fans. Ronda Rousey and McGregor appeared on the cover of UFC 2, and the game was released in 2016. However, in 2018 McGregor appeared alone on the cover of UFC, which was the pinnacle period of his career.

At that time, McGregor was at his peak in terms of his career and fame in the UFC. However, McGregor began fighting less and did not appear on the cover of UFC 4 in 2020. Recently, UFC 5 was announced via trailer, and fans trolled McGregor and the game for his bald head. They expressed their disappointment in the poor imaging of McGregor.

Most fans noticed that McGregor’s head was bald in the game and were perplexed. This is mainly because he only shaved his head a few times, like the rematch with Nate Diaz and his boxing match with Floyd Mayweather. Furthermore, in both those fights, he had a considerably longer beard. However, in his fight with Dustin Poirier, he dawned a new bald head and sleeker beard look. The trailer featured Michael Chandler beating up a bald version of McGregor. Fans did not like the outlook and went on Twitter to complain. Check out some of the fan reactions:

McGregor’s last fight in the UFC came against Poirier in 2021. He has not made an appearance since then. However, he has not maintained his bald look from 2021, which has confused fans about his character design in UFC 5.
