“Nightmare blunt rotation” – Fans LOSE it on Twitter as Colby Covington is seen with Kanye West and Candace Owens at documentary screening
Kanye West, Colby Covington, Candace Owens and Ray J (L-R)
Colby Covington turned heel back in 2017. Not only did it save his career, but it also brought him benefits he would not have imagined. Back then, Covington was informed in advance that he would be removed from the UFC roster regardless of how his outing with Demian Maia went.
The American turned up the volume to max, started getting on the bad side of fighters, and as a result, is one of, if not the most polarizing figures in the UFC. Despite being one of the most hated fighters on the rosters, Covington has also emerged as one of the most recognizable faces from the UFC. This has translated to him being seen with stars such as Lil Wayne and Candace Owens.
The capping moment of his stardom would have surely been when he was invited to the White House to meet the, then-President of the United States, Donald Trump. Now, in a video posted online, it seems like he has managed to get on the good books of another starlet.
In the video, Covington, accompanied by Candace Owens, can be seen greeting the immensely famous rapper and designer, Kanye West. Although the video is short, what can be seen is that the two share greetings on the red carpet of an event, before moving to another place.
The event in question is Candace Owens’ BLM documentary screening. Interestingly, the trio was joined by popstar Ray J, infamous for leaking an adult video with West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

Fight fans poke fun at Colby Covington and Kanye West’s meeting
Kanye West has been in hot water over his behaviour of late, which can be taken to be extremely inflammatory. Due to his recent actions, the American rapper also had his Twitter account blocked.
While the reference isn’t direct, some fight fans found a parallel between him and Covington, by referencing Covington’s provocative behaviour in the past. Here are some fans who either couldn’t believe that the duo were seen together, or made fun of the unlikelihood of the two meeting.

Colby Covington is a fighter first, and a celebrity second. The fighter must remember that he has competed sparsely in the octagon in the last two years – a win over Jorge Masvidal and a loss to Kamaru Usman are the extents to which he has fought since the beginning of 2021. In an ever-changing welterweight landscape, Covington will have to be more active to maintain title ambitions.
