A win for either Craig or Allen would help them move up the middleweight division. Both of them have an exciting submission game. Hence, the bout makes for an interesting affair. The fight promised an exciting grappling sequence, and it delivered. In the end, Allen walked away with a dominant submission win.
Paul Craig moved to the middleweight division after consecutive losses in the light heavyweight division. The Scottish fighter felt he could master the weight cut to 185 and compete better as a middleweight. On the other hand, Allen has won every fight since losing to Chris Curtis in 2021. A win over Craig would help him fight a top-10 opponent in his next fight.
