The last time Adesanya appeared inside the octagon he went against Jared Cannonier at UFC 276. The fight was extremely one sided as Cannonier didn’t do anything which put the champion on the back foot. Izzy had no requirement to take any risk as he controlled the fight from start to end. At the end of five rounds, Izzy was declared the winner via a clear unanimous decision.
In the same card, Sean Strickland fought Alex Pereira in which he knocked Strickland in the first round. This opened up the opportunity for the Brazilian to challenge Izzy for the championship. Pereira and Izzy are old nemesis and the Nigerian had lost to Pereira in a kickboxing bout. Recently, UFC announced that the fight is going to take place at UFC 281 inside the Madison Square Garden on November 12.
After the announcement was made, Izzy took to Twitter in order to make a statement for himself to his fans and followers. He wrote :

“Vengeance is mine says the lord.”
Brooooo I said the same thing too!!

“Alex by KO” – Fight fans predict results for Israel Adesanya vs Alex Pereira fight at UFC 281
After UFC posted the confirmation poster of UFC 281 featuring Izzy and Pereira, fight fans reacted to it in the comments.
Given that Izzy has been facing criticism for not taking risks and having boring fights in his last few fights, the same thing was also reflected in the comments.
An user showed concern and hoped that this fight will not be as boring as Izzy’s other fights. He wrote “Hope this ain’t a snooze fest and if it is I hope it’s Izzy asleep.”
Another user had the same thought as she questioned Izzy credentials to even be a main event fighter. She wrote, “An Adesanya main event?? When will you guys learn that he isn’t main event material with his performances.”
A fan suggested that Adesanya will have to be in his top game or else he can lose this fight.
“Izzy better be on his A game and don’t bs this one.”
Fans trolling Israel Adesanya
A user hilariously referenced adesanya’s post fight press conference at UFC 276 and made the ‘Elsa’ comment.
“Adesanya is gonna get frozen like Elsa again”
Many also showed their support towards the challenger and claimed that Adesanya is going to lose the fight.
An user mocked Izzy’s name and wrote he is going to lose this fight.
” The Last Transgender gonna loose this one.”
A fan suggested that Adesanya is going to get knocked out in the fight at UFC 281.

Another fan also predicted the same and mentioned that it will be a knockout finish for Alex Pereira..
