Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, has come to support his friends Jorge Masvidal and Dana White at UFC 287. It has only been a few days since his indictment and Trump subsequently pleading not guilty to those charges. Hence, it was a surprise for fight fans to see the former President come to watch the fights.
A picture of Donald Trump sitting with UFC President Dana White, legendary boxer Mike Tyson and Kid Rock near ringside at the PPV has gone viral. Fight fans in Miami welcomed him with standing ovations adding to the fact that Florida is a Republican-dominated state in the United States. He also won the state of Florida during both of his Presidential runs.
Dana White is known for his public support for Donald Trump. White has spoken plenty of times of his admiration and respect for Donald Trump. Hence it is no surprise to see Trump and White hang out at UFC 287. Mike Tyson and Kid Rock also join them ringside to watch the fights.
Mike Tyson is a close friend of Dana White, and they have appeared together on many podcasts, including the NELK Boys podcast. Hence the collaboration between four individuals from different spheres of life and business had fight fans in a unique mood. Unfortunately for Donald Trump, Jorge Masvidal lost the fight to Gilbert Burns by unanimous decision.

UFC 287 featured the fight between Jorge Masvidal and Gilbert Burns in the co-main event. Former President Donald Trump came to support his friend Masvidal at the PPV in Miami. However, fight fans were caught off-guard by the picture of Trump, Dana White, Mike Tyson and Kid Rock. They have taken to Twitter to give their reaction:
Even despite the support of Donald Trump, Jorge Masvidal could not get the victory. After the loss, Masvidal announced his decision to retire and praised Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in his post-fight speech.
