Conor McGregor

Twitter fans react to Conor McGregor’s latest pictures in which the fighter compares himself with comic book superheroes and villains. McGregor has been showing some good signs of recovery from the horrific leg injury he had at UFC 264. It took him around 10 months to get back into training in order to get ready for his much awaited comeback. The fighter has not completely healed but according to reports will most probably make his comeback at the end of 2022 or the beginning of next year.

During his recovery period, the Irishman also decided to gain weight and started bulking up. The bulk went pretty good and the first pictures of it went viral on the internet. Everybody was excited to see McGregor looking that huge for the first time in his professional career. McGregor, who has mostly played in the featherweight and lightweight division, currently weighs around 190 lbs.

Recently, McGregor posted a picture of him on his Twitter shot from the back with headgear and gloves on. It might be during his boxing training with his coaches in the gym. What attracted the attention of many fans was the choice of caption the superstar decided to add. In the caption, the ‘Notorious’ compared his physique with Hulk and DC’s villain Bane. The fighter also compared himself with Bruce Wayne who is a character with massive wealth. McGregor wrote:

As usual with any McGregor’s post, the twitter went wild and there were many reactions to the post.

An user focused on Mcgregor’s caption and explained how it is not a good comparison.

” Hulk got his ass beat by Thanos and bane got his ass kicked by batman not a good analogy there lol.”

Another user pointed out Mcgregor’s past issues with his cardio and questioned how this bulk would help McGregor to build more stamina.

Another user had similar things to say as he mentioned that bulking up will not help McGregor due to his bad cardio. He also explained that the fighter will lose in a disappointing way in future.

A user named Junkie Jones with a profile picture of Jon Jones mentioned in his comments about McGregor’s poor performances in his last five fights.

It seems like the McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov rivalry is something the fans can’t let go even after four years. One user poked fun at McGregor by claiming Nurmagomedov would beat the Irish under 5 seconds.

” khabib would have his balls all over your forehead in less than 5 secs if you fought him.”

A fan hilariously mentioned that the Hulk comparison is spot on as the character also got defeated in last two fights in the MCU movies.

” You’re right because Hulk got his ass whooped the last two times too ??.”
